Auction System Project
On a team of 4, I used object-oriented analysis and design methodology to model, implement, and document an electronic auction system, similar to eBay. The team achieved a grade of 96% on the final product from the professor.
Modeled and texture-mapped a realistic three-dimensional environment for Valve Software's Source Engine. My XSI modeling / texturing skills, digital photography skills, Photoshop skills, and knowledge of real-time 3D engines were all used extensively in completing this project. Was selected to present the finished product to a room of 30 peers, and received an A+ grade from the professor.

Working on a team of 4 I planned, developed, and documented a web-based calendar and event scheduling system using PHP, mySQL, and Apache HTTP Server. Designed to aid in organizing meetings for the employees of large organizations, it features several calendar views, intuitive interfaces for adding / deleting events, and streamlined navigation. My role included coding of all the PHP scripts, mySQL database setup / integration, and user interface design.

Researched and bought hardware to maximize speed and stability, when assembling my desktop computer from scratch. Installed Windows XP and Red Hat Linux 9, in a dual-boot configuration. Set up and configured a wired Ethernet / wireless 802.11 network with DHCP for dynamic IP addressing, port-forwarding for various services, and AES encryption for wireless security.
